The tenth week again delivered, with a huge upset for the Bills proving the 'any Sunday can bring surprises' saying that draws so many people into the NFL

That result may have opened things up for the Patriots to move back into a leading position they used to occupy, with a remaining games that gives them an edge over their eight and two competitors

Meanwhile in the National Football Conference the Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams had perfect results to set up a major confrontation in week 11, while our player of the week is pursuing milestones as well as the Most Valuable Player award

Analysis - Just a Bad Day for the Bills?

Josh Allen in action
Was Josh Allen try too much or was it just a poor performance for the Bills?

Was it just an emotional letdown from defeating Kansas City last week or something more? This remains the question for the Buffalo team to answer

The Bills had secured seven victories in a consecutive games against the Dolphins but were second best from the beginning as the Dolphins ran out 30-13 victors in an surprising outcome - and display

MVP Josh Allen only achieved the squad's opening first down in the third period and initial scoring in the fourth - admittedly Miami had 10 days to get ready but it was still a massive egg produced by one of the league's best offenses

Tua Tagovailoa passed for two scores but running back De'Von Achane was the game-changing factor, with 225 combined yards and two scores

Bottling up the league's best rushing attack was crucial too, with Cook and company registering just eighty-six yards, their lowest of the year and slightly more than half their 161.5 yard season average

Then there were the three crucial turnovers, and the two from Allen in particular. An interception in the scoring area meaning a nine-minute drive produced nothing, and his fourth-quarter fumble that the Dolphins turned into seven points just later

It was classic 'previous Bills teams' as they shot themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defensive side and Allen trying to do too much to rescue his squad from the situation - rather than the composed, controlled, well-balanced Buffalo team we've seen this year

The Dolphins have served up a bit of everything this season so the jury's out on if this is the beginning of a trend, but for Buffalo they'll need an instant response in a tough game against the Buccaneers in week 11 as the New England are sneaking into a comfortable advantage at the top of the AFC East

Speaking of the New England, they're one of three different 8-2 squads in the league, all AFC sides, but could they be the best?

You can find flaws in New England, the Broncos and the Colts actually for feasting on the weaker opponents, with just five of their combined twenty-four victories achieved against teams with a positive record - and one example was the Colts defeating the Broncos

Denver beat the reigning champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are masters of the final quarter while Indianapolis can rely on Jonathan Taylor, but the New England adding Sunday's win in Tampa Bay to their primtime success in Orchard Park appears to be a declaration

Their two defeats came in recently appointed coach Mike Vrabel's first three games, with seven consecutive wins, just like the Broncos, since then - but taking down Mayfield after the Bucs had a week off to get ready was significant

Drake Maye's MVP claims continue to be discussed, and he definitely deserves point for bravery after taking some savage hits in Tampa Bay but hanging in there to steer his side to success

The defensive unit is solid and rookie rusher TreVeyon Henderson exploded on game day with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of 55 and 69 yards - establishing himself as just the fifth ball carrier to break 22mph this year on his first score

Although you can debate who 'the best' is technically, the Pats should be favorites to end with the top record thanks to their remaining opponents - which features just a single matchup against a winning team, albeit a significant contest against the Bills

Visiting Baltimore is also tough, but the Broncos have it even tougher in the AFC West with the Kansas City to face two times, the Los Angeles Chargers (who might also compete for top seed but face the same problem) and additionally the Green Bay on the fixture list

The Indianapolis also play the Chiefs, and have the Seahawks, 49ers and two games with the five and four Jaguars to face. There is a long way to go but the door is available for a shock number one position in the American Football Conference

Coming Up - Los Angeles and Seattle Prepare for Week 11 Showdown

Two teams with solid claims to be better than all of the three different eight and two teams are NFC West opponents the Seahawks and Los Angeles, who both scored forty points to reach 7-2 before next week's major game between the two in Los Angeles

They've both secured four victories in a consecutive games, have quarterbacks in Stafford and Sam Darnold performing at an elite level (although Darnold had ball security problems on game day) with excellent pass catchers, and defensive units giving up under 20 points a game

Both could realistically be without a loss as too - particularly the Los Angeles as their two defeats occurred in extra time against the 49ers and then that painful defeat in Philly when they had a potentially winning kick with the final play deflected and run back by the Eagles for a touchdown

Seattle also lost to San Francisco, with a late touchdown in the opening week, before falling to the final play of the game against the Tampa Bay - so they are truly among the best sides in the league

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the best of the year so far

Top Performer - Jonathan Taylor

Taylor might be on for a historic year after his incredible display in Germany - rushing for 244 rushing yards, registering three scores and adding an additional forty-two {receiving yards
