It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It is hard for their batsmen to maintain a record if not afforded the opportunity.

In the end, the outcome of Australia allowing 330 runs was skipper Alyssa Healy being given a chance to create her most recent brilliance.

Then best known as the young family member of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after Australia didn't secure either of the T20 or ODI World Cups conducted earlier and has seen it all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

A T20 championship victory happened three months after her bow and seven international trophies have come from 10 tries across formats.

The gritty keeper was also there in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final setback by India temporarily stopped the winning streak.

That loss "pushed us to reevaluate our levels," Healy stated recently.

At the subsequent ODI World Cup in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the final and was awarded tournament MVP. She guaranteed her country would not fail again.

The question of whether this recent magnificent innings topped that previous effort remains open for discussion.

Certain people claim the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the difficulty that comes when confronting a historic chase and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this hundred was considerably tougher to predict.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 occurred when she was the highest scorer, but this knock was preceded by six games in India since the start of last month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've observed me in the nets, it has been a disappointing period because I feel like I lacked timing completely," commented Healy.

"But once you step out on the field, your competitive instincts take over and you just lock into the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has consistently been her key asset - and an invaluable trait in taking over from iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, dismissed by the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off the opening delivery and from that point the right-hander was underway.

"The possibility to go out there and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was out Australia needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last competing nations at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a significant event.
